Our Friends in Williamsburg

SustainUS members who are over 21 gathered on Saturday afternoon at a fantastic bar in Williamsburg called the Surf Board. They have sand on the floor and a really great atmosphere.

While there, we met members of the band Mickey Fin, who are playing at Arlene grocery at 95 Stanton St. between Ludlow and Orchard on Wednesday around 9:30pm. Anyone in the Brooklyn area should definitely be there.

The scene provided a great opportunity to talk to the various hipsters there about clean energy and a sustainable future. Our friend Clint was all about human and animal rights, and it just goes to show that there are so many people out there that support the work we do. We just need to engage them: one bar at a time.
